christmas dinner = food coma

christmas day - we had dinner at maya. before i tell you who i was with, let us first talk about the resto and the food. as the title suggests, we had bitten off more than what we can chew (in a good way though). the place is cozy and upscale and their lighting didnt hurt my eyes! alhough i was a bit distracted by the masks they used as decors. it kinda gave me the voodoo vibe.  you gotta love their big door! what i love most about the resto was their service. i swear they have the friendliest and most 'maasikaso' servers in the world! heck, i think they'd die on the spot if you asked them to! okay, sorry for the comparison. its just the first thing that came to mind.  and oh, their food is superb! they serve in generous amounts and every bite tastes like heaven! okay okay, before i get carried away lets just let the pictures do the talking.

see what i mean? and the only downside about the resto is the price. their food is a bit pricey (read: really expensive) for a middle-class girl like me. oh well, we didnt just paid for the food. we paid for the experience. CHOS!! :)
